We are looking for an excellent and highly motivated Integration Firmware Engineer to join our FW Pre-Silicon team. Take part in the team whose primary mission is to work on groundbreaking technology network adapters (NIC) and prepare NIC Firmware for tape-out and production! Our goal is to have NIC Firmware fully verified before real chip is produced, so you will engage intensively with frontier HW emulation systems. As a Firmware engineer, you’ll work in a wide range of domains including low-level C communication with hardware and software, Python to automate routine tasks, C++ regression environment. The position is definitely for you if you like to be in the intersection of all development activities related to preparing new chip to production.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Performing integration of Chip Design RTL drops to NIC Firmware
- Working on bringing up next generation NIC devices on Emulation systems
- Close work with Chip Design, Firmware and Software teams during integration activities
- Extend NIC Firmware code support for new devices
- Improve team’s work efficiency by adapting methodologies, automating routine activities
What We Need To See:
- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- Computer structure & operating systems
- Experience in Python & Bash (tcsh is an advantage)
- Previous experience in Pre-Silicon activities is an advantage
- Experience in Real-Time or Embedded software development is an advantage
- Problem solver, independent and curious
- Strong interpersonal skills and self-learning ability
- Strong multi-disciplinary capabilities and ability to work with a wide interface of people – chip design, verification, FW, SW
