The Senior Financial Analyst – Finance Business Partner analyzes and reports sales volumes, pricing, and customer/product profitability, while supporting budgeting and forecasting processes. Responsibilities include consolidating weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts, summarizing financial results, and providing insights that challenge and inform the business. This role delivers decision support to the Commercial team, with a focus on Biosciences, China, and India Distribution businesses, and collaborates cross-functionally with Commercial, Accounting, Operations, and Corporate FP&A teams.
What you’ll do?
Analysis and Reporting: Support the Commercial business by contributing to BI reporting and design initiatives and serving as a super user of Power BI, SAP S/4 and Fiori. Develop and enhance dashboards in partnership with Sales Operations to support performance management for North America Commercial and Biosciences. Drive standardization and automation of reporting processes and metrics. Partner in integrating financial and business data systems to ensure accurate, consistent reporting.
Analyze and report key business drivers through weekly and monthly Commercial reporting for Biosciences, Mosaic China and India Distribution businesses. Evaluate profitability, volume, and pricing across customers, products, and locations to identify performance improvement opportunities and support decision-making. Monitor sales activity, ensuring data accuracy and resolving discrepancies, while leveraging advanced analytics to enhance insights. Additionally, provide backup support for the North America Commercial business teams as needed.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Coordinate and consolidate Commercial business financial budgets and forecasts for Biosciences, Mosaic China and India Distribution businesses. Analyze, challenge the business, identify and recommend performance and cost improvement opportunities and facilitate a meaningful review of individual country budgets/forecast with Commercial leadership. Work to improve the forecasting process.
Other: Provide analysis and reporting support for Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, Product Management, Sales and Financial Reporting teams. Provide ad hoc reports as required. Evaluate processes for best practice solutions. Work on special initiatives and presentations as necessary.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor's degree required with major in Accounting, Finance or Business with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of finance, accounting, or financial analysis experience
Experience developing automated dashboards and reports using PowerBI
Experience preparing and analyzing financial models and decision support tools
Must be proficient in a Microsoft Windows environment (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience/Knowledge of SAP preferred
