The Position

The holder of this role will be responsible to produce several monthly financial reports / analysis needed in the development of the MOR for the segment . They will also be responsible for data production within the Captive arrangements working closely with the Lead Analyst who manages this process. A key focus in the business is automation and efficiencies, so the successful candidate will be trained on Alteryx, Power BI and Qlik Sense and will be expected to improve existing processes where possible.

  • Ensure that monthend deliverables are prompt and correct in line with the monthend timetables, ensuring that any risks to the deadlines are communicated quickly for resolution.
  • Responsible for analysis and interpretation of moderately complex financial information.
  • Utilising independent judgment and discretion, identifies trends, variances, and key issues and provides recommendations for adjustment.
  • Prepares financial reports and recommends improvements in financial reporting tools/systems.
  • Conduct audits to ensure financial controls are maintained.
  • Completes day-to-day Financial Analysis tasks without immediate supervision but has ready access to advice from more experienced team members.
  • Tasks involve a degree of forward planning and anticipation of needs/issues.
  • Identifies trends, variances, and key issues and provides recommendations for adjustments.
  • Tracks, reports, and maintains financial data.
