In our European Operations Centre (EOC) in Heerlen we have a position related to cost control and financial planning & analysis on Fixed Assets and Demo’s and Samples, covering the Western Europe and Middle East & Africa (EMEA) regions. In this role you will be part of the Global Centre of Excellence Order to Delivery team, a team of finance professionals working in multiple financial areas around Inventory & Inventory driven costs.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Actively participating in the financial closing, planning, and preparing forecasts on Fixed Assets CAPEX and Depreciation expenses, as well as Demo and Sample expenses
• Preparing financial analyses for Business Finance and provide detailed driver variance analysis
• Maintaining and building reporting, accounting and control structures, planning models and database structures
• Partnering with Operating Units on handling ad-hoc Fixed Assets business cases and business teams to drive operating performance
• Participating in projects around financial optimization and financial process setup and improvements
• Contributing to a global Centre of Excellence mindset by standardization, harmonization and centralization of processes

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics with a minimum of 6-8 years of professional finance experience, preferably in an international environment and comfortable with working in cross-functional, remote teams
• Willing to take a hands-on approach with high learning agility and ability to translate complex driver insights into easy-to-understand narratives
• Able to handle complex structures and high amounts of data, with commitment to accuracy
• Fully proficient in Excel, able to restructure financial driver calculation models and perfect command of English both written and spoken
• Experience in SAP, Microsoft Access, SQL, Power BI
