We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to support our M&A activity and provide financial analysis and strategic insights to Labcorp's General Manager and Lab Leaders in the North Central division. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing recommendations to drive business performance. This position will be onsite, not remote, reporting to the Louisville, KY location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support M&A activity, including financial modeling and analysis, due diligence, and integration planning.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to Labcorp's General Manager and Lab Leaders in the North Central division.
  • Perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
  • Identify areas for improvement in financial processes and procedures and recommend solutions to streamline financial reporting.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and presentations for executive leadership.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement business strategies.
  • Perform competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify industry trends and best practices.
  • Support the development of financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and potential acquisitions.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a healthcare or life sciences industry.
  • Strong financial modeling and analysis skills, including experience with M&A and integration planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Live within a commutable distance to location in Louisville, KY as this position is onsite, not remote or hybrid.

Preferred:

  • Experience with SAP and Hyperion financial systems.
  • Experience working in a publicly-traded company.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Alteryx would be a nice to have skillset.
