Job Details
Cencora is looking for a Mid-Level SQL Server Database Administrator to join our Data Warehouse Team in our 3rd Party Logistics Division. This role is a 40% SQL Server / Windows Administration and 40% supporting day-to-day operational change requests and 20% New Development work. Working closely with the Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, EDI and Account Management teams; lessons learned from this activity will provide a foundation for growth for your career goals and exciting opportunities to take our operations farther with exciting technologies and methods. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hands-On experience in Microsoft SQL Server Installation, configuration, performance tuning, maintenance, and Database Administration on Production Servers
  • Build out new code management, release and control procedures
  • Design and Implement High Availability and Disaster recovery Solutions
  • Maintain backup & recovery plans
  • Develop centralized performance and security monitoring methods
  • Troubleshoot SSIS package failures
  • Setup up new inbound and outbound file processing request.
  • Participate in On-Call rotation schedule
  • Perform multiple windows server and SQL upgrades / migrations
  • Work with supporting vendors, application owners, infrastructure teams.
  • Be well organized and focused with good communication skills.
  • Work with Windows environment for better for SQL server compliance.
  • Contribute to new cloud platform choices


REQUIREMENTS:
6+ years - SQL Server - T-SQL
4+ years - SSIS Development and support
4+ years - SQL Server Administration
4+ years - Windows Server Administration
4+ years - Data Warehouse Environment
One of the following

  • PowerShell 3+ Years
  • C# 3+ Years

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related discipline or equivalent related experience.
Preferred Certifications: • Salesforce Certified Administrator • Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) • Microsoft Certified IT Professional • ITIL, ITSM Certifications
WORK EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of directly-related or relevant experience, preferably in application support or system/application/database administration.
