Lyra Technology Group is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the team at one of our operating companies, Telco Experts, located in New York, NY (remote). The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for all reporting functions, reconciliations and data management, and assisting with budgets and supporting in the development of business plans. This position will report to the CFO and engage with company leadership.

Your work as the Senior Financial Analyst includes several components:
• Conduct financial close for the month, quarter, and year
• Collaborate with the CFO on long-term business planning at the managerial and executive level
• Manage financial statements and KPI reporting
• Develop annual financial plans and projections for the company
• Conduct financial assessments and establish department budgets in collaboration with the CFO
• Review and analyze financial information to promote efficiency and profitability
• Provide ongoing training to accounting personnel
Our ideal Senior Financial Analyst has the following qualifications:
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
• Strong knowledge of data management, manipulation, and analysis
• Proficiency in Tableau or similar tools for data visualization and reporting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines
• Strong knowledge of financial management and project-based accounting software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
• 3-5 years of relevant experience, with a bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
