ABOUT THE ROLE

Xtreme Aviation LLC is seeking a hands-on, analytical, and highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support financial analysis, cost management, and operational decision-making across our multi-location aviation MRO environment.

This position will play a key role in developing and improving the company's job-level profitability and cost analysis, giving management greater visibility into labor, materials, outside services, overhead, margins, and overall operational performance.

The ideal candidate is someone who can do more than maintain existing financial reports. We are looking for an analytical builder who can identify gaps, develop practical solutions, implement new financial processes, and work closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, and ERP/system resources.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

📊 Job Costing & Profitability

  • Develop and maintain job-level profitability reporting across the organization.
  • Analyze labor, material, outside services, overhead, and margins at the job level.
  • Evaluate actual job costs against estimates, quotes, and budgets.
  • Identify and analyze significant cost and profitability variances.
  • Develop methodologies for labor costing, burden rates, and overhead allocation.
  • Partner with Operations to identify the causes of unfavorable labor, material, and margin variances.

💼 Financial Analysis & Operational Finance

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Analyze financial and operational information to support management decision-making.
  • Identify trends, cost drivers, and opportunities for improved financial performance.
  • Prepare financial analysis and recommendations for senior management.
  • Translate financial information into practical insights for operational leaders.

⚙️ Process Improvement & Implementation

  • Take financial improvement initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Develop requirements, methodologies, testing plans, documentation, and monitoring processes.
  • Identify gaps in ERP data, financial processes, and controls.
  • Recommend practical solutions to improve financial and operational reporting.
  • Work with Finance, Accounting, Operations, Purchasing, and ERP/system resources to improve the quality and usefulness of company information.

  • Strong understanding of labor costs, material costs, overhead, cost drivers, and profitability.
