Senior Financial Accountant

Job Description

Minimum compensation: starting from 11 000 PLN. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience and competencies.

So, who are we?

IG is a FTSE 100 fintech operating across five continents, serving over 1.3m customers and handling billions of dollars in transactions – built on scale, trust, and proof.

We didn't pivot to innovation; it's how we've always operated. What that means for the people who work here is real: genuinely complex problems to solve, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and the kind of scope that's rare in established businesses.

The bar is high – bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we'll give you the platform to define what comes next. Join us at IG – the future gets built here.

Your role in the Team

Accounting of individual entities according to IFRS, revenue and cost review and reconciliations, tax accounting in line with regulations, management analysis. Working closely with senior members of the wider finance department within IG Group local and overseas offices.

What you’ll do

Your job will include among others:

  • Preparation of management and financial accounts, including review and oversight of monthly results for group entities,

  • Standard bookings and review: purchase orders, invoices, prepayments, fixed assets, accruals, payments and cost analysis

  • Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of a strong financial control environment

  • Intercompany reconciliations and cost allocations and bookings in line with transfer pricing rules

  • Financial reporting in accordance with International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS)

  • Management and coordination of indirect and operational tax related activities if required

  • Participation in process improvement projects and management analysis

Who we’re looking for?

You’re curious about things like the client experience, the rapid developments in tech, and the complex world of fintech regulation. You’re also a confident, creative thinker with a knack for innovating. We know that you know every problem has a solution. Here, you can try new ideas, and lead the way in creating inspiring experiences for our clients and everyone around you.

We don’t fit the corporate stereotype. If you want to work for a traditional, suit-and-tie corporate that just gives you a pay cheque at the end of the month, we might not be for you. But, if you have that IG Group energy and you can stand behind what we believe in, let’s raise the bar together.
