Financial Management & Accounting
● Oversee daily accounting
operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank
reconciliations, payroll, and general ledger management.
● Ensure accurate and timely
preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
● Maintain proper accounting
records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
● Supervise all financial
transactions and ensure proper documentation and filing systems.
● Monitor cash flow,
liquidity, and working capital management.
● Prepare and manage company
budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
● Coordinate external audits
and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
● Support on funding and
financial strategy
● Prepare management reports
and provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
● Conduct financial analysis
on company performance, operational costs, profitability, and investments.
● Develop financial models and
forecasts to support business growth initiatives.
● Present financial reports
and recommendations to senior management.
● Monitor financial KPIs and
recommend corrective actions where necessary.
● Work closely with the tax
consultancy on tax planning, tax filings, and statutory deductions.
● Establish and maintain
strong internal controls and financial policies.
● Identify financial risks and
recommend mitigation strategies.
● Oversee the management and
control of inventory, stock movement, and warehouse operations.
● Ensure accurate stock
records, inventory reconciliation, and regular stock audits.
● Monitor stock levels and
ensure timely replenishment of materials and supplies.
● Implement proper inventory
control systems to minimize losses, damages, and stock variances.
● Ensure timely procurement of
goods, services, equipment, and operational supplies.
● Ensure procurement processes
comply with company policies, budget controls, and regulatory requirements.
● Review purchase requisitions, purchase orders,
and procurement documentation for accuracy and approval.
Requirements
Qualifications &
Experience
● Bachelor’s Degree in
Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
● CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent
professional certification is highly preferred.
● Minimum of 5–7 years of
progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
● Experience in healthcare,
laboratory, medical, or related sectors will be an added advantage.
● Strong understanding of
financial reporting standards, taxation, and compliance requirements in
Tanzania.
● Experience in budgeting,
forecasting, and financial analysis.
● Proven experience in fund
sourcing, financial planning, and strategic financial management.
● Proficiency in accounting
software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
