Core Responsibilities

  • Lead financial governance across NYI5 expansion project, ensuring delivery within approved funding framework.
  • Secure quality and robustness in business cases, tenders, cost estimates, and investment proposals.
  • Act as financial gatekeeper for contingency usage, change orders, escalation topics, and Steering Committee decisions.
  • Define and enforce cost structures, reporting standards, commitment tracking, and change order control governance.
  • Drive transparency across actuals, commitments, forecasts, risks, and financial exposure throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Lead in-year estimates, phasing, and financial follow-up in close collaboration with the GWP project team.
  • Challenge and support project owners and senior stakeholders to ensure financial discipline, alignment, and decision quality.

EMEA Manufacturing Finance partners closely with our three manufacturing sites across the region to support operational performance, long-term growth, and major investment decisions.

This role will be dedicated to supporting the next expansion phase in NYI one of the LEGO Group’s key strategic priorities. Working closely with site leadership, project teams, and global stakeholders, you will help ensure that expansion investments are financially robust, transparent, and executed within approved governance and funding frameworks.

The role combines hands-on project support with strong financial challenge and decision partnering across a complex and high-impact expansion environment.

Do you have what it takes

  • Strong financial foundation combined with extensive finance business partnering experience within manufacturing, industrial operations, large-scale investments, or complex project environments.
  • Strong financial understanding of CAPEX projects, business cases, forecasting, cost tracking, and investment governance.
  • Proven experience supporting large-scale investments, tenders, project controlling, or complex expansion environments.
  • Ability to create transparency across actuals, commitments, forecasts, risks, and overall financial exposure.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, influence, and support senior project stakeholders.
  • Structured and disciplined approach to governance, reporting, change control, and financial decision processes.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in manufacturing, industrial, construction, or project-drive organizations.
