The Senior Finance Manager will lead forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and performance analysis for global logistics spend while partnering closely with Supply Chain, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Operations, and Regional Finance teams to deliver cost productivity commitments, manage global tariff and customs impacts, and improve operational performance.
This leader will drive the development of scalable analytics, standardized reporting, and actionable insights to support business decisions and continuous improvement across the global logistics network.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead all recurring financial operating mechanisms for Global Logistics including forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range planning, monthly reporting, and financial reviews.
Serve as finance business partner to Global Logistics and AIS Supply Chain leadership, providing financial guidance, strategic insights, and decision support to achieve operational and financial objectives. Develop executive-level reporting and drive visibility to key performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Sourcing, Customs & Trade Compliance, Regional/Segment Finance teams, Controllership and Corporate Finance to deliver financial results and support strategic initiatives.
Lead Variable Cost Productivity (VCP) financial planning, tracking, reporting, and execution support. Partner with operational leaders to identify, validate, and monitor savings initiatives while ensuring productivity commitments are achieved.
Provide financial leadership for global tariff, customs, and duty-related activities, including forecasting exposure, analyzing business impacts, supporting mitigation strategies, and reporting risks and opportunities to leadership.
Drive monthly close support and post-close analysis, including variance reporting against forecast, budget, prior year, and productivity commitments. Translate results into clear business actions and recommendations.
Develop robust logistics analytics, dashboards, and KPIs that provide actionable insights into cost, service, productivity, and network performance. Simplify and automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency and decision-making.
Lead the standardization of global logistics financial reporting processes, metrics, and governance across regions to improve consistency, transparency, and accountability.
Support operating reviews and leadership discussions by delivering clear performance narratives, financial analysis, and recommendations to drive business outcomes.
Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, accountability, and data-driven decision-making across Finance and Supply Chain teams.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration or related and 8 years of progressive financial experience
Demonstrated ability to lead in a team environment
Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications (i.e.: Oracle, SAP, COGNOS, Business Objects, etc.)
Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation (i.e. pivot tables, Vlookup and macros)
Ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across all levels, functions, and Regions/SBU’s.
Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating team
Prior experience supporting Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain, Global Trade, Customs & Duties, or Operations Finance.
Strong understanding of logistics cost drivers, transportation networks, tariff impacts, and supply chain economics.
Graduate of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP), Operational Financial Leadership Program (OFLP) or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS); or graduate of other financial leadership programs
Strong FP&A experience including forecasting, budgeting, business case development, performance reporting, and executive-level financial analysis.
Demonstrated success partnering with operational leaders to deliver productivity and cost reduction initiatives.
Experience developing scalable analytics, dashboards, and reporting solutions that improve business visibility and decision-making.
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive results in a matrixed global organization.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $140,000.00-$210,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
