We are now looking for a Senior Expert, e-Invoicing / e-Reporting to join our team in UPM Business HUB Poland in Wrocław. E-invoicing / e-Reporting  refers to the use of digital tools and systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements - especially in areas like tax, finance, and invoicing- in an increasingly digital and data-driven environment.

What you will do

  • Conduct impact analysis of regulatory e-invoicing / e-reporting changes across UPM countries and Businesses
  • Serve as a regulatory subject matter expert (SME) for selected countries
  • Monitor and maintain country-specific fact sheets and regulatory content
  • Lead country-level regulatory e-invoicing / e-reporting implementations and updates as project manager
  • Ensure effective communication and change management across affected teams and geographies
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Group Tax, Indirect Tax team, IT, RTR/STP/CTC process areas and Businesses to ensure alignment and shared ownership of compliance goals
  • Develop and maintain e-invoicing / e-reporting compliance solution templates, guidelines and concepts
  • Take ownership of the regulatory e-invoicing / e-reporting solutions, including monitoring, troubleshooting and reconciliation of transactional data
  • Design and support a process of reconciliation between e-invoicing data and SAP financial records (incl. tax ledgers) to ensure accuracy, traceability and audit readiness
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, proposing enhancements and leveraging automation and AI where feasible

Who you are  

  • You hold a university degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, tax, information systems or a related field
  • You have solid background in finance, tax, IT or compliance
  • You have working experience with SAP, including SD and FI modules
  • You bring project management experience and are confident working with external vendors and cross-functional teams
  • You have excellent communication skills in English; other languages are a plus
  • You are proactive and have a strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to drive initiatives from concept to execution

Additional information about the position

This position offers a hybrid working model, combining remote work from home with regular on-site collaboration in Wrocław, Poland.

The position holder will report to e-Compliance, Manager.
