Key Responsibilities
- Support the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) Framework, including review population validation, data extraction, reconciliation, analysis, and system enhancements.
- Prepare management reports, dashboards, analytics, and documentation for governance forums, regulatory submissions, and ad hoc requests.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and analysis to identify trends, anomalies, market conduct risks, and sales quality concerns.
- Collaborate with business, technology, and data stakeholders to gather requirements, support system enhancements, conduct UAT, and drive process improvements.
- Develop and maintain reporting, analytics, and workflow automation solutions using tools such as Excel, Power Automate, Python, JIRA, and other business intelligence platforms.
- Conduct market conduct surveillance reviews, monitor findings, track remediation actions, and provide management insights on emerging risks and trends.
- Support regulatory inspections, audits, investigations, data requests, and special projects through data analysis and reporting.
- Undertake other duties and projects as assigned by the Team Lead, Section Head, or Head of Compliance.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in compliance, data analytics, business intelligence, business analysis, or process automation within a financial institution or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of market conduct, regulatory compliance, and data governance principles is preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is mandatory, including:
- XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, and advanced formulas
- Data cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, and trend analysis
- Management reporting and handling large datasets
- Hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, and transforming raw data into meaningful business insights.
- Experience with Power Automate/RPA tools and Python for workflow automation, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement.
- Experience with JIRA or similar tools for project delivery, requirements management, UAT, defect tracking, analytics, and reporting.
- Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, system implementation, UAT, and stakeholder management.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to drive continuous process improvement through technology and data analytics.
Skills Required
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in a compliance role in a financial institution or similar.
- Understanding and experience in market conduct and/or sales advisory.
- Experience supporting or managing business systems.
- Experience working with internal IT teams and/or external vendors to deliver system enhancements.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with ability to interpret data and translate into management insights.
- Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into functional and system specifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of senior management and committee-level reports.
- Basic knowledge of regulations and industry guidelines applicable to the insurance/financial industry.
