Purpose:
To design a product that delights customer perception whilst integrating the company’s strategic goals through the use of updated technical knowledge and appropriate resources, lead SOPs and draft specifications for error- free manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate new development requests (DRFs) and prepare accurate, feasible costings based on sample breakdown and process capabilities. Development Planning & Resource Coordination, Assess raw material availability, process capability, and workload to plan and prioritize development schedules aligned with customer timelines.
• Conduct detailed analysis of samples to determine construction, weave pattern and technical parameters for initial specification preparation.
• Create Mucad designs ensuring product compliance with customer needs and production feasibility across manufacturing processes.
• Allocating technicians & team members for each development, follow up the progress, carry out necessary trials and communicate to the BD team of any changes and make sure the sample is handed over to BD team on-time.
• Maintain and update all development-related specifications, customer specs, and FMIS/ERP records to ensure information accuracy and accessibility.
• Provide technical specifications and guidance to other plants, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and alignment on product standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
Educational Qualifications:
• Degree or equivalent professional qualification Textile Manufacturing, Process Engineering or any relevant field.
Professional Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing setting..
Personal Characteristics / Behaviour:
• Passion and updated knowledge on emerging fashion/market trends, consumer behavior and ability to convert findings to the product

Skills Required
- Degree or equivalent professional qualification in Textile Manufacturing, Process Engineering or relevant field.
