The Opportunity
As a Tech Lead – Cloud Services (Azure D365), you will oversee the design, implementation, and management of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 infrastructure. You will lead a team of infrastructure engineers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the D365 environment. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, cloud infrastructure management, and a passion for guiding teams to success.
Responsibilities:
Leading the D365 infrastructure team, providing mentorship and guidance to team members
Designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure solutions for Dynamics 365 applications
Managing and optimizing cloud resources on cloud platforms to ensure both cost-efficiency and high performance
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define infrastructure requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
Collaborating with infrastructure engineers to guarantee high availability, optimal performance, and robust security of the D365 environment
Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues to maintain high availability and reliability
Developing and enforcing best practices for infrastructure management, security, and compliance
Preparing and maintaining documentation related to infrastructure setup, processes, and procedures
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field; An MSc or relevant postgraduate qualifications will be an added advantage
Over 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including at least 5 years of working experience with the Azure cloud platform
Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and its infrastructure requirements
Proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure
A solid understanding of networking, security, and database management
Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Fundamentals) are a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong oral, written, and presentation abilities, and are able to convey risk to all levels of the business, from executives to operations and development teams
