Kemper Insurance is seeking an Executive Assistant to work at our Kemper office. This full-time on-site position provides executive administrative support to our Business Systems Chief Information Officer and his management team.
Position Responsibilities:
- In this key role you will provide administrative support to company executives and department leaders.
- Responsible for creating PowerPoint presentations, Word documents and Excel spreadsheets.
- Work with confidential information, completing internet research, handling calendars and schedules, managing expense accounts, booking trips and other administrative activities related to supporting the department.
- You will interact with various company employees from multiple organizational units in addition to external customers and contacts.
- The principal emphasis is on performing high level administrative functions requiring the exercise of independent judgment and discretion.
- May coordinate complex administrative activities across multiple organizational units.
- Develop relationships with internal and external parties as needed to effectively handle work assignments.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Protect operations by keeping information confidential and demonstrating professionalism.
Position Qualifications:
- Five or more years of corporate executive assistant experience supporting multiple executive level personnel and C-suite senior executives
- Advanced experience and expertise with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience writing effective and diplomatic correspondence
- Previous experience managing calendars and schedules, completing presentations and documents, booking travel and using expense account software
- Requires the ability to work independently while managing changing priorities and projects
- Experience communicating professionally with both internal and external contacts via email, phone or in person
- Must have excellent attention to detail, organization and planning, confidentiality and problem-solving abilities
- Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent related work experience
- This is a hybrid position working onsite 4 days per week.
