About the Team and the Role
You will join a highly skilled development and test tooling team responsible for:
- Developing and evolving the GTT framework that underpins Packet Core development and testing.
- Investigating, analyzing, and troubleshooting issues in GTT, test suites, and related product code.
- Supporting development teams with reliable tooling and test capabilities.
What you will do & responsibilities:
- Work in Linux environments, using shell scripting (bash) to automate workflows and support development activities.
- Design, implement, and debug Erlang/OTP code in the GTT framework and related components.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues across tooling and test environments.
- Collaborate with Packet Core feature and system teams to translate requirements into effective GTT functionality.
- Ensuring GTT remains a reliable and effective tool for Packet Core development and testing.
- Delivering features, fixes, and improvements according to agreed quality and delivery targets.
- Contribute to automation, quality improvements, and continuous development of the framework.
Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with Erlang/OTP and functional programming.
- Experience working with complex software systems.
- Solid understanding of telecom or mobile network fundamentals, including 4G/5G concepts.
- Proficiency with Linux and bash scripting.
- Experience in distributed, cloud-native, or containerized environments.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
