Global Payments is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to contribute to the development and execution of enterprise architecture strategies.
This role will involve working closely with business and IT stakeholders to design scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- Establish architectural frameworks, standards, and guidelines to support IT initiatives and technology investments.
- Evaluate and recommend enterprise technologies, platforms, and solutions to enhance business capabilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure adherence to architecture best practices.
- Provide technical leadership in cloud, microservices, and API-driven solutions.
- Contribute to enterprise architecture governance, ensuring compliance with standards and frameworks such as TOGAF and Zachman.
- Participate in technology evaluations and proof-of-concept initiatives.
- Support digital transformation efforts by identifying and promoting emerging technologies that drive business value.
- Support M&A technology integration efforts by assessing acquired architectures and recommending alignment strategies.
- Create architectural documentation, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
- Work closely with senior architects and leadership to drive technology transformation initiatives.
- Participate in architectural reviews, ensuring consistency and adherence to enterprise architecture principles.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or solution architecture.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern application architectures.
- Knowledge of security and compliance considerations in the payments or financial technology sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
