We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead our Cortex LLM Platform team, a critical component of Snowflake's AI strategy. This platform underpins all AI products that use LLMs, including Snowflake Intelligence, AISQL, REST API, and other surfaces delivering value directly to our customers. The role is managing the engineering team that develops high-performance and scalable services, integrating expertise in AI systems, service deployment, and data infrastructure.
IN THIS ROLE AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:Set the strategic vision for the team and be accountable for plans and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
Hire and develop talented senior technical leaders
Drive team projects from idea formulation through implementation in collaboration with partner teams
Translate product requirements into engineering work and coordinate with cross-functional teams
Foster a culture of creativity and innovation while promoting practical decision-making
Be responsible for evolving the organization structure and improving engineering efficiency
Advanced degree in Computer Science
5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing managers
3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience at staff level with AI infrastructure background
Strong track record of recruiting, leading and growing technical teams
Solid engineering fundamentals in software infrastructure and services
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to influence across global organizations
