Skills Required
- Design and develop circuit schematics for embedded systems
- Select appropriate electronic components considering performance and cost
- Create and review PCB layouts in collaboration with layout engineers
- Perform simulations and analysis to ensure circuit reliability
- Build prototypes and conduct functional testing and debugging
- Ensure designs meet EMI/EMC, safety, and industry compliance standards
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and validation teams for integration
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and test reports
- Support supplier and vendor discussions for component availability and alternatives
- Assist in cost optimization and design-for-manufacturing (DFM) activities
- Provide technical support during production and field issue resolution
