Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our data-driven team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming data into actionable insights that drive business strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop complex data models, analyze trends, and create visualizations to improve decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using tools like SQL, Power BI, or Spotfire.
- Partner with stakeholders across departments (Manufacturing, Process, Equipment, Product, Operations) to understand business objectives and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining to solve business problems and optimize processes.
- Create clear and compelling data visualizations to present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Lead data governance efforts and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across systems.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices in data analysis and reporting.
- Work with the data engineering team to define data requirements, ETL processes, and ensure the availability of relevant data for analysis.
- Continuously explore new data analysis tools, techniques, and industry trends to improve analytical capabilities.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a big data analysis
- Strong experience working with large datasets, data warehousing, and data governance.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages for data analysis.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Spotfire.
- Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques (e.g., regression analysis, clustering, forecasting).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership capabilities with experience mentoring or leading a team of data analysts.
- Attention to detail and a passion for data accuracy and integrity.
