JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Director, Technology Transformation Lead serves as the central orchestrator of large-scale technology transformation programs, acting as the bridge between strategy, delivery, and executive leadership. This role is accountable for driving integrated program execution, enabling data-driven decision-making, and ensuring consistent governance across a complex, multi-year transformation portfolio. The position operates as the face of the Transformation Office, maintaining alignment with C-suite stakeholders while ensuring that delivery teams execute against a cohesive, enterprise-wide roadmap and governance framework.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or related technical field
- 10+ years’ experience in leading complex programs that include:
- Managing relationships with IT organizations
- Managing direct report and matrixed teams
- Project and program management expertise
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and drive direction/focus
- 6+ years’ experience in project management and/or developing and executing strategic Information Technology programs and/or project portfolios
- Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead transformation in complex, matrixed enterprises
- Excellent analytical skills resolving complex problems/issues

- Proven experience in planning, budgeting, and analysis
- Experience with development of program and project standards in a sourced environment

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
1. Transformation Leadership & Strategic Alignment
- Own and continuously reinforce the vision, priorities, and value realization strategy of the technology transformation
- Act as the primary liaison to executive leadership (VP, SVP, C-suite), translating technical progress into strategic insights
- Ensure alignment across business and technology stakeholders to enable unified program execution
2. Integrated Program Delivery & PMO Leadership
- Lead and coordinate multiple PMO functions including:
- Solution Roadmap
- PI Planning & Execution
- Reporting & Tooling
- Governance (RAID, Change Control)
- Communications
- Oversee delivery across multiple teams, tracks, and workstreams, ensuring alignment to overall program milestones
- Drive development and management of integrated program plans and roadmaps across all domains
3. Governance, Decisioning & Operational Excellence –
- Define and enforce enterprise governance structures, decision forums, and escalation pathways
- Own program health visibility through RAID management, change control, and executive reporting
- Ensure predictable delivery by embedding standardized processes, tools, and operating rhythms
4. Data-Driven Reporting & Executive Storytelling
- Lead development of executive-level reporting, dashboards, and predictive insights
- Translate complex program data into clear, actionable narratives for leadership and boards
- Establish and enforce data governance and reporting standards across the transformation
5. Solution Roadmap & Integrated Planning
- Drive creation and maintenance of the end-to-end solution roadmap across all business and technology domains
- Ensure integration between requirements, capabilities, and delivery milestones
- Oversee tools and frameworks (IMS, Jira, Power BI, etc.) that enable a connected view of program progress
6. Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Manage relationships across technology, business, and executive stakeholders globally
- Act as a trusted advisor and right-hand partner to senior client leadership
- Coordinate communications across diverse audiences—from delivery teams to boards
7. Organizational Enablement & Change Leadership
- Design and drive change, communications, and readiness strategies to support transformation adoption
- Enable teams to adopt new ways of working, tools, and governance models
- Support talent development, team structure, and scaling of transformation capabilities
Scope & Complexity
- Large-scale, multi-year enterprise transformation programs (often spanning 10+ years and dozens of teams)
- Cross-functional coordination across business tracks, technology domains, and global teams
- Direct engagement with executive leadership and governance bodies (SteerCo, OpCo, Tech Leadership)
