Senior Director, Client Partner

Are you a strategic, relationship-driven leader who can build trusted executive partnerships and uncover new opportunities within complex enterprise accounts?

Do you excel at identifying client challenges, connecting those needs to broader solutions, and turning strategic conversations into measurable growth?

About the Role

The Senior Director, Client Partner is responsible for going beyond managing today’s business to build the trust, access, and insight needed to uncover opportunities outside the current scope. This role develops deep executive relationships, understands the client’s broader business strategy and challenges, and connects those needs to Conduent capabilities to create measurable growth.

The ideal candidate is a curious strategist and trusted advisor who does not wait for an RFP or formal buying process to begin. You will engage clients in meaningful discovery conversations, identify important business problems and emerging needs, and bring the right Conduent expertise into the conversation early.

Responsibilities

• Leading strategic discovery conversations with senior executives to understand enterprise priorities, transformation agendas, financial pressures, operational challenges, technology roadmaps, and emerging needs beyond current delivery.

• Translating client challenges into solution hypotheses and growth opportunities and engaging the appropriate Conduent solutions, product, sales, and operational experts before a formal buying process begins.

• Building authentic, mutually valuable executive relationships so clients seek your perspective and involve Conduent early in strategic and problem-solving discussions.

• Developing relationships across functions, business units, geographies, and executive levels to create broad organizational trust rather than relying on a single sponsor.

• Identifying whitespace growth opportunities by mapping the client’s broader business needs to Conduent capabilities beyond current contracted services.

• Shaping a multi-year growth thesis for each strategic account, including client priorities, addressable problems, executive sponsors, competitive positioning, and revenue pathways.

• Creating opportunities proactively rather than relying solely on client-generated RFPs, renewals, or Sales Executive-led pursuits.

• Developing qualified whitespace and expansion pipeline and creating opportunities across multiple Conduent capabilities to grow revenue beyond the original scope.

• Building meaningful relationships across executives, functions, and buying centers and opening doors for Conduent leaders and subject-matter experts.

• Earning early involvement in strategic discussions and emerging challenges before requirements or RFPs are fully defined.

• Maintaining a clear account growth thesis, progressing opportunities with discipline, forecasting accurately, and mobilizing resources around high-value problems.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Demonstrate success leading executive-level discovery conversations that uncover needs outside the current contracted scope.

• Bring a documented track record of creating new opportunities within existing enterprise accounts, not only managing or renewing existing revenue.

• Convert complex business problems into solution hypotheses and mobilize solutions, product, sales, and operational resources to address client needs.

• Demonstrate strong commercial curiosity and the ability to understand client business models, industry dynamics, competitive pressures, strategic priorities, and financial drivers.

• Establish trusted relationships in which senior executives seek your advice, perspective, and problem-solving support.

• Challenge client thinking constructively and help shape future priorities rather than simply responding to stated requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• Executive relationship builder who develops genuine trust rather than transactional relationships.

• Curious strategist who understands the client’s business well enough to ask insightful questions that clients find valuable.

• Opportunity creator who identifies important business problems and opportunities before there is an RFP.

• Solution orchestrator who knows how to bring the right Conduent capabilities and expertise into the conversation.

• Commercial closer who converts trust, insight, and access into pipeline, expansion, retention, and revenue.
