SUMMARY
Marriott International is seeking a visionary and strategic Senior Director, Global Select + Midscale Brands to shape the future of assigned brands within a rapidly evolving portfolio. This leader translates global category vision into actionable strategies and long-term brand plans, guiding multi-year priorities and making enterprise-level decisions that balance brand ambition, commercial performance, and market realities. By partnering closely with continent and discipline teams, the Senior Director fosters innovation, elevates guest experiences, and ensures brand relevance and measurable business impact across markets.
The Senior Director will have direct responsibility for multiple brands and work closely with continents to monitor and develop strategies and tactics to improve Brand Health metrics, including customer satisfaction, unit growth, and competitive positioning. The role will lead multi-disciplinary projects to deliver complex key brand initiatives, including launching new brands, repositioning brands, and driving transformational change across the brand lifecycle.
As a connector and brand steward, this role balances enterprise objectives with market dynamics, exercises sound judgment in ambiguous, matrixed environments, champions operational excellence, and inspires teams to deliver differentiated results. - 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major
- 10+ years of relevant brand management professional experience demonstrating career growth and exceptional performance
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic brand plans and multi-year business strategies with clear performance outcomes
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex, multi-brand initiatives in highly matrixed, global environments
- Strong analytical skills, with experience leveraging consumer insights and market data to inform strategy and prioritize initiatives based on business impact

- Serves as the primary liaison between global leadership and continent teams, supporting communication strategies and integration plans, escalating challenges and sharing best practices while driving clarity, alignment, and decision velocity.
- Collaborates with cross-discipline teams—including design, standards, end-to-end experience design, marketing, and global operations—to shape and implement brand initiatives through influence, executive presence, and strong storytelling.
