We are looking for an engineer that have experience in Windows .NET and SQL Server, who is willing to adapt and work on containerized and Linux-based platforms as well. Someone who is acquainted with comparable environments, ideally in the financial business area and enjoys working with Agile / Lean / Scrum frameworks/methodologies. Who is embracing the responsibility for the implementation, configuration and maintenance of a highly available platform, a platform hosting critical applications, supporting crucial financial and credit risk processes?
You will be configuring and maintaining the platform in a professional and controlled way using SRE principles. The business processes are travelling over various other systems and require you to look beyond your own scope and collaborate closely with other teams in the organization.
You ensure that the application runs smoothly without any production disruptions. When issues do arise, you resolve them quickly and prevent them from happening again by implementing structural and robust solutions.
We are looking for an engineer who is embracing the responsibility for the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of this important application and enjoys working in a cross-border distributed team in an agile environment.
Key Skills Required:
- You have experience working with Windows environment /IIS/ Powershell.
- You have experience with RedHat Openshift.
- You have exposure working with Linux environments.
- You have a working knowledge of Azure DevOps (Azure repos, creation/execution/maintenance of Azure YAML-based pipelines, Azure KeyVaults etc).
- You have a background of working agile, preferably using Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of security best practices and industry standards
- Experience with DevOps tools and processes, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD)
- You are knowledgeable about the standard practice for Vulnerability management.
- You have working experience with ITIL processes (change-, incident- and problem management), and relevant tooling.
- Hands-on Experience around security, firewalls, API gateways, PKI certificates, and certificate management.
- You have experience with containerized (ICHP-hosted) applications, using Docker, and Kubernetes.
- You have working knowledge of monitoring & alerting, using Prometheus, Grafana, IAT and RTK2.
- You are familiar with SRE concepts.
- You have working knowledge or understanding of IT Risk Security or ITRMP (Risk management).
- You have an intrinsic drive for innovation and automation.
- Excellent communication skills and a great team player.
- You have a great interest in experimenting with new technologies and tools and can implement those.
Nice to have skills :
- Basic knowledge of API’s / microservices (preferably using the ING Merak framework).
- Scripting (Powershell, Bash, Python, and similar) skills.
- Experience on ING Private Cloud (IPC) / private Cloud.
