Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) division within a global financial technology organization. This role will lead the modernization of deployments from on-premise to AWS, build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, and implement container orchestration solutions. You will play a critical part in enabling secure, scalable, and cloud-ready identity services while helping shape the future of our DevOps capability in Manila.
This is a high-impact role with visibility across product, engineering, and cybersecurity teams, offering both technical leadership and career growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
Lead migration of on-premise applications and services to AWS.
Design, build, and modernize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory.
Implement containerization and orchestration solutions (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
Automate infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Collaborate with security and IAM teams to embed identity, authentication, and authorization controls.
Maintain high system availability with proactive monitoring and alerting.
Integrate DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and compliance automation.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Participate in incident management and operational support.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS (networking, security groups, ECS/EKS).
Proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Artifactory).
Solid Linux administration skills.
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
Scripting/programming skills (Java, Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
Strong communication skills, able to work across global teams and time zones.
Amenable to working US shift hours.
Nice-to-have:
Exposure to IAM tools (Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD).
Familiarity with IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect).
Experience in regulated environments (PCI DSS, SOX, ISO 27001).
Knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk).
