Job Description SummaryAs a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale CI/CD, release management, cloud infrastructure, and platform engineering solutions for highly available, mission-critical software products.
You will lead the build and release strategy while providing hands-on implementation for complex, large-scale, and concurrent software releases across multiple environments. Working closely with Engineering, Platform, Security, and Operations teams, you will drive automation throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), enabling continuous integration, testing, deployment, and delivery of high-quality software.
This role requires deep expertise in cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, DevSecOps, observability, and modern software delivery practices. Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy, design, implementation, and support of CI/CD, build, release, and deployment processes across multiple products and environments.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Harness.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Bicep, and Ansible.
  • Implement GitOps deployment models using ArgoCD and FluxCD.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-native applications across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Build and support containerized platforms using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, and Kustomize.
  • Partner with Development, QA, Security, and Operations teams to streamline software delivery and platform reliability.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing, deployment, monitoring, rollback, and disaster recovery mechanisms.
  • Integrate DevSecOps practices including security scanning, compliance validation, secrets management, and policy enforcement into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Create and maintain observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch, Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, and cloud-native monitoring tools.
  • Drive platform modernization, automation, cloud transformation, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and AI-assisted DevOps solutions to improve engineering productivity and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5-8 years of experience in DevOps Role
  • Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, and automation scripting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools including Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, CloudFormation, Bicep, and Ansible.
  • Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, and container orchestration technologies.
  • Hands-on experience implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD and/or FluxCD.
  • Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory, Harbor, ECR, or Azure Container Registry.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor.
  • Strong understanding of Linux/Unix administration, networking, security, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Experience implementing DevSecOps practices including vulnerability scanning, container security, secrets management, and policy enforcement.
  • Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, and Azure Key Vault.
