Purpose of Role/Summary: 

Senior DevOps Engineer focus on executing and refining the DevOps strategies set by the DevOps Manager. The role is instrumental in implementing automation and integration across IT Operations, Application Delivery, Development and Datawarehouse, ensuring alignment with the organization's DevOps methodology.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, to support efficient and automated deployment processes
• Assist in managing cloud infrastructure on AWS or similar platforms, focusing on automation, security, and cost-efficiency. Support resource optimization to ensure effective cloud usage
• Implement and manage Kubernetes configurations using tools like Helm or Kustomize, emphasizing improved deployment consistency across environments
• Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot system health using tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenSearch, ensuring proactive issue detection and resolution
• Utilize Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning and management, supporting consistent and traceable deployments.
• Research and evaluate new tools and technologies to continuously improve DevOps workflows and efficiency, staying current with emerging trends and best practices
• Support the implementation of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to protect applications and data
• Assist in incident response and post-mortem analysis to enhance system resilience and reduce future incidents
• Work closely with development and data teams to streamline deployment processes, enabling smooth and collaborative release cycles
• Create and maintain documentation for deployment processes, system architecture, and workflows, contributing to knowledge sharing and team onboarding
• Automate operational tasks, including backup and disaster recovery processes, to improve system reliability and minimize downtime

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of DevOps Experience with proven track record in implementing DevOps practices and methodologies
• 2+ years of hands-on work in a cloud environment. Deploying and managing cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with an understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) practices (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of Python, Shell, or PowerShell for automating tasks
• Strong understanding of containerization concepts and practices with Docker. Experience with Kubernetes is preferred
• Expertise in CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, and others
• Advanced level of English
• Team Player with a Continuous Improvement Mindset
• Familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and OpenSearch is a plus
• Experience with deploying and managing web applications, including knowledge of DNS management such as Cloudflare and web server management such as Nginx, is a plus
• Experience with databases is a plus (e.g Amazon Redshift, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, ClickHouse)
• Experience with Kafka, is a plus
