MMA offers a variety of technology solutions to help our clients mitigate and manage risk. Senior Developer will be responsible creating a quality application to solve complex business problems. This position requires mentorship of junior development staff and performing code reviews.
Job Responsibilities:
- Write advanced programming code for both front-end and back-end projects
- Enhance the security in our backend environment in conjunction with automated scans
- Maintain, modify, and scale our AWS environment in conjunction with the external security team.
- Analyze the behavior of our applications to find and fix bugs.
- Analyze performance of our applications and determine efficiencies
- Collaborate with other developers during working sessions
- Provide mentoring and best coding practices to other staff
- Perform code reviews
- Effectively communicate with other functions to develop outstanding products and services for our end customers.
Requirements:
- 8 years’ experience in all aspects of software development
- CS in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience
- Excellent knowledge and experience with the .NET framework
- Excellent knowledge of front-end web JavaScript frameworks such as React and React
- Excellent knowledge of back-end programming languages such as C#
- Experience creating and maintaining databases
- Experience with MS-SQL, PostgreSQL and MySQL databases a plus
- Good interpersonal skills
