Why we're hiring

Alloy is seeking a world-class Senior Director, Demand Generation & Digital Marketing to own our holistic demand generation and digital marketing strategy and lead us into our next phase of growth. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role will own full-stack pipeline generation and will rally the sales, product, and marketing teams around an integrated strategy. This highly collaborative, data-driven, and experienced leader will work cross-functionally to create, execute, and measure global demand generation programs, with an eye toward experimentation and optimization across every phase of the customer journey.

What you’ll be doing 

The Senior Director, Demand Generation & Digital Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive engagement, quality leads and pipeline, and support revenue growth. The successful candidate will be both a strategic thinker and a “roll up your sleeves doer” with a deep understanding of lead generation, digital marketing channels, and data analytics. As the Senior Director, Digital Marketing & Demand Generation, you will:

  • Develop and execute a robust demand generation strategy that aligns with business goals and drives brand awareness, high quality leads, increased pipeline, and revenue growth
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and measurement of demand generation programs, including events and field marketing, ensuring they meet performance targets and deliver ROI
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Product, and RevOps teams to align demand generation efforts with business goals
  • Manage and collaborate with external agencies to ensure effective campaign execution and optimization across channels
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor and optimize the performance of demand generation activities and program efficiency, providing regular reports and insights to stakeholders
  • Oversee and optimize our lead-scoring and lead-gen process in close collaboration with Sales and RevOps
  • Oversee field marketing (hosted and industry events) and webinars 
  • Manage the demand generation budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing the impact of marketing spend
  • Inform and optimize our marketing technology stack to support new and expansion revenue efforts
  • Hire, grow, manage and lead a team of high-performing marketing professionals

What we're looking for

Alloy is looking for a highly collaborative, data-driven, and seasoned leader. You are excited about building programs and teams from the ground-up, possess an entrepreneurial mindset, are passionate about leading people, and take deep accountability and ownership of your work.

  • At least 7-10 years of experience with a proven track record of driving demand generation and pipeline growth in a B2B or SaaS technology environment 
  • Strong, hands on expertise across digital marketing channels, including paid (SEM, programmatic, paid social, etc.) and organic (SEO, email, etc)
  • Experience optimizing websites for usability and business outcomes
  • Proven experience driving both high velocity (low touch) and ABM (high touch) digital programs
  • Prior field marketing and event experience 
  • Natural leadership abilities with prior experience building, leading and managing high-performing marketing teams
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot), CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • The agility and energy to continually evaluate strategies, programs and make necessary adjustments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills

The following range is based on the scoped level within the organization and only for highly targeted geographies: $225,000-265,000 + annual incentive bonus.
