In this role you will be a part of the Business Strategy and Insights team within LEGO Brand Parks & Experiences and will regularly work alongside and support other team members across the Brand Relations, Marketing, Experience Design, Business Transformation and Retail teams. You will also work with the Global Insights team, with your counterparts at Merlin Entertainments, and with other sources and users of relevant data across the LEGO Group.
Responsibilities
Develop data management tools, dashboards and reporting systems to support the LEGO Brand Parks & Experiences team and key stakeholders.
Aggregate and clean data from multiple sources including but not limited to: Commercial data from LEGO brand parks and special events; B2B and B2C retail sales data; Marketing data; Other data from the LEGO Group Data Bricks ecosystem; Other relevant data and insights from the LEGO Group, Merlin Entertainments, and other suppliers.
Design, build and maintain dashboards (Tableau, Power BI or similar) that aggregate multiple data sources to provide easy-to-access information for a range of different stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Automate process and data flows to improve productivity and user experience for key stakeholders.
Distill data into actionable insight and recommendations to support our journey towards a more data- and insight-driven decision-making culture.
Collaborate with other team members and project owners to understand their requirements for data management and analysis and inform the design and delivery of dashboards and other solutions.
Engage and build working relationships with key stakeholders across the LEGO Group and from Merlin Entertainments to source initial and ongoing access to relevant data flows, with support from senior team members.
Requirements
Proven experience working with data systems, modelling, and reporting.
Experience with both back-end data architecture and front-end data visualization.
Strong analytical and process mentality and ability to create data management, analytics and reporting tools from scratch.
Fluency in Tableau, Power BI or similar data visualization software.
Advanced proficiency in SQL (Hive, Impala, Data Bricks).
A high level of learning agility - you can pick things up and learn quickly on your own, collaborate with new stakeholders, and drive with determination to deliver results.
Willing to travel 10 days a year.
