As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the development and deployment of sophisticated data-driven solutions that enhance business operations. This role offers the opportunity to tackle complex challenges, including predictive modeling, anomaly detection, and generative AI applications, with a strong emphasis on financial contexts. We will count on you to:

  • Conduct advanced statistical analysis and build machine learning models to solve business problems.
  • Develop, deploy, and monitor data-driven solutions in production, ensuring their performance and iterating based on feedback.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure model integration aligns with business objectives.
  • Ensure best practices in model validation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on advancements in data science, particularly in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI, and apply new techniques to business challenges.
  • Engage with business stakeholders to drive conversations around data science initiatives and their impact on business strategy.

What you need to have:

  • 4-5 years of experience in the field or master’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Expertise in deploying models into production
  • A solid understanding of the machine learning lifecycle
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate business problems into data science solutions and effectively collaborate on product development, particularly with stakeholders in Finance..
  • Strong expertise in machine learning and deep learning frameworks, with a solid understanding of generative AI.
  • Proficiency in Python.
  • Experience with data orchestration tools such as Dagster, Apache Airflow, or Prefect.
  • Experience in API development.
  • Familiarity with version control tools, particularly Git and GitHub, for collaborative coding and project management.
  • Effective communication skills in English (C1 level), with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a passion for developing talent within the team.
