Senior Data Scientist

What success looks like in this role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Data Scientist to join our team, working on a high-impact project for a very keen customer who expects rapid iteration and tangible results. The role requires an individual who can handle open-ended data science problems in a high-stakes environment. You will need to quickly experiment with ideas, delivering insights and solutions efficiently, while also presenting findings to stakeholders at various levels of the business.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage NLP and generative AI to analyze Service Desk data, identifying trends and proposing strategies for reducing ticket volume and improving operational efficiency.
• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy machine learning models to enhance the accuracy and relevance of ticket categorization and resolution recommendations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven insights, ensuring solutions lead to measurable business outcomes.
• Present findings and actionable insights to stakeholders, ranging from technical teams to senior business leaders.
• Stay updated on advancements in NLP and generative AI, continuously experimenting with new techniques and integrating them into ongoing data analysis.
• Iterate quickly on ideas, responding to the dynamic needs and expectations of a high-impact customer.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, with a proven track record of tackling open-ended data science problems in high-stakes environments.
• Expertise in applying NLP techniques and generative AI models to real-world data, with demonstrated impact on business outcomes.
• Strong proficiency in Python and its associated libraries for machine learning and data analysis (e.g., Pandas, scikit-learn).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for various stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical business stakeholders.

Salary Range: 57.600 - 87.600 € gross annually depending on qualifications, competencies and experience
