The Impact of a Senior Data Scientist to Coupa:
Senior Data Scientists at Coupa support internal teams (primarily product and engineering) by creating and automating machine-language-driven solutions to complex problems. Your work would help improve existing or new machine-language-based product features and would ultimately impact thousands of Coupa customers driving product usage and adoption.
What You’ll Do
- As a Sr. Data Scientist you will work with large datasets including both structured and unstructured data, implement and automate data (ETL) and machine learning pipelines, improve data quality, and ultimately help ship machine-language-driven product features
- You will be contributing to the development of concepts, methods and techniques with design ownership over features and functionality
What You Will Bring to Coupa
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or Statistics (or similar field)
- 5+ Years Experience with Python (and PySpark), and querying languages such as SQL
- High-level understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms
- 5+ Years Experience working with large datasets - cleaning, interpreting, and automating processes
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, learn on the fly, and use critical thinking skills
