Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

As a Data Privacy and Insights Analyst you will support a proactive data protection culture across the Bank, by analysing and creating core MI streams, identifying trends and privacy risk gaps. You’ll use your technical knowledge of Power BI, SharePoint, and Power Platform tools to build, simplify, and strengthen existing data privacy processes, ensuring these continue to meet our policy and technical standards.

You’ll help the Business complete its transformation agenda by supporting critical and complex integration change initiatives, encouraging and building a harmonised ‘group’ privacy by design and default approach, and regularly helping to enhance and maintain the reporting MI suite using Power BI dashboards and reports, providing insights into privacy risk compliance and reporting against our suite of key control indicators.

About you

For this role, you will have:

  • Significant demonstrable experience of working with Power BI, SharePoint and other Power Platform tools to streamline privacy processes, reducing manual effort

  • Good understanding of data protection, privacy, or risk management concepts, and how these translate into control governance and reporting

  • An ability to analyse data, providing effective analysis and insights to influence and drive compliant decision-making

  • Experience of communicating and presenting key messages to engage with people across all levels of the Group

  • Strong analytical skills (possibly statistical analysis) and experience of interrogating large volumes of data to identify and report on risk trends

  • Experience of prioritising competing tasks and working autonomously as part of a high-performing data-team

Our customer first behaviours put customers and members at the heart of how we work together. They are the set of behaviours that every colleague needs to display, in every role:

  • Feel what customers feel - We step into our customers’ shoes, using their feedback and insights to empathise with them and to understand their needs, so that every decision we make starts and finishes with our customers in mind

  • Say it straight - We are brave in speaking out and saying what we think – we’re honest and direct with good intent, openly sharing diverse perspectives to reach the best conclusions and using language everyone can understand

  • Push for better - We don’t settle for mediocrity, we challenge the status quo, taking responsibility for continuous improvement and personal development

  • Get it done - We prioritise what will have the greatest impact, we are decisive, and we take accountability for delivering brilliant customer outcomes

You can strengthen your application by showing how our customer first behaviours resonate with you, and where you may have already demonstrated these.
