No relocation assistance is offered for this positionPlay your part in our team succeedingThe Regional Commercial Development (RCD) Team is part of the China Market Group Leadership Team Function, responsible for crafting the commercial agenda and enabling balanced growth. RCD bridges global strategy and local execution—ensuring that commercial priorities are translated into clear direction and delivered with rigor across the organization.
As part of this team, you will play a meaningful role in defining and evolving our channel strategy and execution—one of the most important touchpoints for delivering the LEGO® brand experience—while driving performance and strengthening long-term channel health.
Core ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy, planning, and execution of channel, focusing on Offline Branded Retail, employing domains across RCD in channel management and governance, commercial planning, portfolio deployment, and revenue management to drive balanced growth in China MG while also ensuring alignment with global direction. Especially:
- Develop and Invent ICP with Sales Team by providing clear strategic direction and actionable plans to deliver against business targets.
- Drive performance management and governance, including supervising results, identifying gaps and opportunities, and leading corrective actions where needed
- Lead cross-functional alignment to ensure consistency in channel strategy, portfolio deployment, and consumer experience across channels
- Represent China in global forums, contributing local insights, influencing global direction, and scaling standard processes across markets
- Provide a third-eye perspective on the latest trends, business landscape, market behavior to identify growth and governance opportunities and advise strategic decisions.
- Other RCD Team tasks across other commercial functions assigned by leader
- Bachelor’s degree or higher would be preferred
- 8+ years of proven experience in commercial roles, with a strong track record of delivering business performance.
- Experience within a sizable brand or retail environment, with solid exposure to sales processes, channel management, and governance practices.
- Strong critical thinking combined with pragmatic execution
- Proven track record to work effectively across functions and regions, driving alignment and collaboration in a matrix organization.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven demeanor, complemented by effective partner and project management skills.
- Ability to communicate sophisticated topics in a clear, concise, and structured manner, tailored to senior partners.
- Strong ownership, driven, proactive and open to new insights and challenges
