People Inc. Travel Content (PITC) is looking for a Senior Custom Art Manager to be a strong contributor on a robust, well-established print and digital client base. Based in Des Moines and reporting to the Photo Director, this position will be an instrumental part of a small team of visual creators in building award-winning travel-focused branded content programs. The ideal candidate for this role will keep projects on trend, on track and on budget. They must have a collaborative spirit and an energetic but professional demeanor. This role will be encouraged to always strive to over-deliver, both internally and externally. As a part of a growing team, this individual will have consistent interaction with our reliable, vastly talented Imaging Center and the color correction workflow. We are looking for someone with stand-out creative, technical and professional skills who is also prepared to get their hands dirty in every step as needed.
Hybrid 3x a week- (Des Moines)
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
About The Positions Contributions:
Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results
30%: Build branded content programs that align with PITC's portfolio of brands and custom content programs that support client needs
30%: Design for print and digital destination travel clients, maintaining cohesive visual and thematic styles for a large variety of projects and campaigns
15%: Proactively engage in tourism marketing trends, technology and design packaging, never settling for the same. Track internal and external successes.
15%: Project Management: Establish and maintain timelines, respecting budgets and co-leaders, and being flexible to client needs with an open mind and level-headed perspective. Communicate directly, thoroughly and transparently with the team, including editorial counterparts. Be accountable, organized, and goal-oriented.
10%: Assist in creating visually arresting pitches for clients and agencies
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Experience:
8+ years of experience with photo and video asset management, production, or support
Experience with branded content and direct-to-client creative
Lifestyle photography production experience; within the travel and tourism vertical is a bonus
Experience reinventing and developing multi- or cross-platform brands
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Certifications and Abilities:
Ability to communicate and art direct color correction on photos
Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills (tech savvy)
A curiosity to learn about and showcase a variety of destinations
A desire to share in both the hard work and the success
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be a positive force for People Inc. Travel Content, internally and externally in client-facing opportunities
