Job Description

To oversee the creation, design, and printing of promotional material for tourism events’ marketing. The Designer ensures all communications meet branding and quality guidelines helping to position the events as one of the leading global tourism events while positioning Saudi Arabia as the leading tourism destination.

Working with the marketing team, stakeholders, and external freelancers to support the overarching marketing strategy and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working with marketers and other internal stakeholders to create material for campaign promotion, internal documentation and content marketing projects.
  • Ensure branding guidelines and workflows are clearly communicated for production of artwork.
  • Research design sources and new ideas.
  • Preparing artwork for print, outdoor
  • Ready to cater to any urgent requests from the government/senior stakeholders.
  • Concept development and new templates
  • Picture research and image manipulation
  • Liaising and negotiating with external suppliers.
  • Ability to manage multiple events. Have an existing pool of freelancers to delegate and manage or be able to create a pool to manage the deadlines.
  • Create templates (mainly PowerPoint) so that marketers can produce promotional material that meet branding standards.
  • Organise and managing the work schedule so that guidelines are clearly communicated, and deadlines met.
  • Support the marketing departments digital strategy by expanding services offered (video, web design)
  • Develop relationships with commercial printers that maximise efficiencies and service levels.
  • Manage Marketing Design budget.

Qualifications

Key qualifications & qualities:

  • This role is only opened for a KSA National.
  • Advanced knowledge of page layout, proof marks/mark-ups, stylesheets, and ability to follow design templates.
  • Good knowledge of Litho Printing, Digital Printing, 4 colour process and Pantone Colours
  • Colour correction and picture manipulation.
  • Good knowledge of difference between web and print design.
  • Very good Knowledge of Mac OS, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat
  • Good knowledge of Illustrator and Premiere Pro
  • Basic knowledge of html and css
  • Minimum 8 years of expereince

  • Communication: Able to communicate, both internally and externally, with both expert staff and non-expert colleagues
  • Workload management: Ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks and projects, delivering on time.
