In this role, you will establish a scalable, in-house legal foundation that accelerates deal velocity, reduces reliance on outside counsel, and enables cross-functional teams to operate with legal confidence. You will own commercial contracting and build a repeatable, business-outcome oriented contracting processes. You’ll also serve as the internal point of contact for external counsel.

The G&A team provides the strategic and operational foundation that enables AcuityMD to grow effectively and efficiently. From legal to finance to people operations, we deliver trusted guidance and systems that empower teams across the business to focus on what they do best.

Responsibilities
  • Commercial Contracting: Lead drafting and negotiation of customer and vendor agreements (MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, channel agreements). Build playbooks and business partnership to streamline deal execution
  • Data & Vendor Partnerships: Structure and negotiate data and vendor partnerships to secure rights and manage risk.
  • Privacy & Security: Manage data processing and security terms, and support internal Security team on customer questionnaires.
  • Corporate Governance & Transactions: In partnership with outside counsel, manage governance, board approvals, equity matters, and support fundraising or M&A with outside counsel.
  • Employment & Immigration: Manage interface with outside counsel on employment and immigration topics.
  • Operational Excellence: Run legal intake and prioritization with clearly defined SLAs; manage outside counsel budgets and performance; train go-to-market teams on templates and negotiation guidelines.
  • Risk Management: Provide pragmatic, business-focused legal guidance across the company to balance compliance and growth.
Your Profile
  • JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in the U.S
  • 6–10+ years of legal experience, including minimum of 3 years in high volume, enterprise SaaS deal environments
  • Highly collaborative with an emphasis on business partnership
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to build efficient legal processes without overcomplicating
  • Strong communication skills and a business-minded approach to legal advice
Nice to Haves
  • Experience supporting a $50–200M ARR SaaS company
  • Familiarity with data privacy (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR), corporate governance, and employment law
  • Experience creating and scaling legal playbooks or intake systems

AcuityMD is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, market data and may vary from the range provided. Base salary range: $225,000-$275,000
