Key Responsibilities
· Lead the technical solution for customer requirements based on the reference design.
· Define, develop, integrate, and validate HVDC SCADA/HMI and Control & Protection systems.
· Own the overall design and architecture of the control system, communication networks, and cybersecurity implementation.
· Ability to define and lead HMI/SCADA integration testing at vendor and supplier premises
· Lead IEC 61850 implementation, system configuration, testing, integration, and deployment.
· Develop and review network architecture, including Layer 2/3 communication, security, and hardening requirements.
· Provide technical guidance for requirement analysis, design, implementation, and troubleshooting.
· Review and approve design documents to ensure quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.
· Support customer interface, technical discussions, and training activities.
· Mentor and coach engineering talent and promote consistent global engineering practices.
· Continuously improve product delivery speed, reliability, and stability.
· Ensure cybersecurity and compliance standards are embedded in design decisions.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams across NPI, ITO, OTR, and Product Care.
Required Qualifications
· Degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering or related field.
· Strong background in HMI software configuration and implementation preferably in Zenon COPA-DATA or Panorama-CODRA.
· Minimum 15 years of experience in control and protection system design.
· Extensive experience with HMI, cybersecurity implementation, virtualization, and Windows operating systems.
· Experience in functional specification, HMI design requirements, symbol design, and view specification.
· Experience in industrial communication networks, including IEC 61850 and Ethernet-based protocols.
· Strong knowledge of communication network security, hardening, and cybersecurity best practices.
· Excellent understanding of Layer 2/3 protocols such as IPv4, OSPF, LACP, DMZ, VPN, DNP, IEC, and Modbus.
· Experience in power systems, substation automation, SCADA, and digital control systems.
· Strong background in HMI/SCADA technologies, testing, integration, and installation.
