Mission:
As part of the Solutions for Customization domain within the Product Division you will focus on the APIs provided by our platform to let our clients’ developers leverage on our capabilities from their own systems.
Key responsibilities
· Product Management: Contribute to the roadmap definition, define new features, and participate in their validation. Collaborate closely with colleagues in the product division from functional domains to ensure a consistent API landscape.
· Support: Assist colleagues from our various international offices in finding adequate solutions and answers for clients facing incidents or addressing new challenges. This includes working with developers requiring specific support on their ongoing developments.
· Documentation/Training/PreSales: Raise awareness and provide training to other consultants. Regularly contribute to documentation and training materials. Engage with the community on openness aspects. Develop demo paths and illustrative applications with our Presales support team for API demos and training.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for API-related inquiries and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback. Ensure alignment between the API strategy and the overall business objectives.
· Market Analysis: Identify emerging trends and technologies in the API space. Use this information to inform the API roadmap and ensure the product remains at the forefront of industry standards.
· Performance Monitoring: Define what API performance is, how to measure, track and document it consistently across APIs, in coordination with Performance Architects; evangelize the best practices and ensure their application through the API teams.
· Innovation: Drive innovation by exploring new technologies and methodologies to enhance the API's capabilities. Encourage a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation within the team.

· Technology knowledge
o API Development and Management: Strong understanding of API design principles, including RESTful and optionally GraphQL APIs. Experience with API gateways, rate limiting, and versioning.
o Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript. Experience with multiple languages is a plus.
o Integration and Middleware: Knowledge of integration patterns and middleware technologies. Familiarity with tools like Postman, Insomnia, and Swagger for API testing and documentation.
o Security: Understanding of API security best practices, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and TLS. Experience with implementing security measures in APIs.
o Data Formats and Protocols: Proficiency in working with data formats such as JSON, XML, and YAML. Knowledge of protocols like WebSockets and gRPC.
o Database Management: Basic knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Experience with query optimization and performance analysis.
o Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Experience with deploying and managing APIs in a cloud environment.
o DevOps and CI/CD: Understanding of DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker.
o Monitoring and Analytics: Knowledge of monitoring and analytics tools to track API performance and usage. Familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
o Financial Instruments and Market Infrastructure: Basic knowledge of financial instruments and market infrastructure is a plus. Familiarity with the MX platform and its architecture is advantageous.
o Basic knowledge of Linux
