As senior communications manager, you will be responsible for managing external and internal communications that advance HNTB’s business goals and carry out HNTB’s brand messages. You will work closely with subject matter experts to plan, develop and implement content and create memorable experiences through events and forums. This role requires a person with knowledge of how best to convey messages in multiple formats and across communication channels.
What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Planning: Develops communications strategy and leads programs in alignment with HNTB’s business goals, including industry engagement, awards, HNTB’s publications, advertising, presentations, collateral, thought leadership articles, social, web and internal content and videos.
- Content Creation: Develops engaging and informative content that is consistent with brand messaging for a variety of communications channels including internal, social and web platforms.
- Collaboration: Collaborates with team members to develop and implement programs that carry out HNTB’s brand messages.
- Event Management: Supports the development and logistics of various events, such as conferences, meetings, open houses, forums and other events.
- Analytics: Tracks communication programs effectiveness and proactively suggest improvements as needed.
- List Management: Updates and maintains internal and external contact lists.
- Relationship Management: Maintains strategic national and local partnerships with key organizations.
- Budget Management: Manages communications budget for specific programs.
- Market Research: Researches and implements current industry trends on communication approaches.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related field and 10 years corporate communications or agency experience
- In lieu of degree, 14 years of relevant experience
