Brown & Brown is seeking a Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team in Phoenix, AZ!
As the main client contact and account coordinator for an assigned book of business, use appropriate judgment and decision-making skills to provide service for customer accounts and transactions, in support of the production and retention of the business. This position is responsible for building, expanding and solidifying relationships with clients at all levels with the company and lead appropriate resources to address the client’s needs, including risk identification and resolution of underwriting or policy issues, accounting issues, claims issues etc. As the Lead Account Executive, you will also be responsible for the training and mentoring of new Teammates.
How You Will Contribute:
Service Commercial Accounts
Client/Carrier Relationship Engagement
General Coverage Knowledge and ability to counsel
AE/AM/Producer Account Partnership Development
Accompany Producer to Client Visits/Presentations
Summary of insurance
Insurance Coverage Review – Prepare with summary & give to producer for completion with the insured
Obtain exposure and operation updates from the client or producer
Get renewal applications and copies or prior applications
Order current loss runs and other documents needed in the renewal/marketing process.
Submit to the marketing department with all need info - or
When a renewal is not referred to the marketing department:
Submit complete and accurate renewal information to the incumbent carrier(s)
Negotiate and obtain quotes
Prepare the proposal for the producer
Make sure the Insurance Coverage Review is completed, returned, and sent to the insured with an approved letter/email.
Licenses & Certifications:
P&C Licensed
Skills & Experience to be Successful:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient with MS Office Suite
Exceptional telephone demeanor
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
3-5+ years insurance experience (preferred)
Professional office environment experience (preferred)
College degree (preferred)
