Cloud Software Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Cloud Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications and solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, with a focus on FedRAMP compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring our cloud environment is secure and compliant by implementing and managing cloud security posture management (CSPM) solutions. You will also contribute to the development and enforcement of cloud governance policies to ensure efficient and responsible cloud resource utilization.
Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and infrastructure on Azure, ensuring adherence to FedRAMP security and compliance requirements.

Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or ARM templates.

Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.

Develop and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance.

Implement and manage CSPM tools to continuously monitor and assess the security posture of our cloud environment.

Collaborate with security teams to define and enforce cloud security policies and standards.

Contribute to the development and implementation of cloud governance policies and frameworks, including cost optimization, resource allocation, and access control.

Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and trends.

Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other team members.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

5+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on cloud technologies.

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures.

Hands-on experience with Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.

Experience with FedRAMP compliance requirements and implementation.

Experience with CSPM tools and best practices.

Proficiency in at least one programming language.

Experience with IaC tools like Terraform or ARM templates.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud environments.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with developing and implementing cloud governance frameworks and tools.

Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.

Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Certifications in Azure or other cloud platforms.
Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges; $1-$50,000,000 CA generally ranges; $1-$50,000,000 All other locations fall under our General State range; $1-$50,000,000 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work.
