We are looking for an experienced Senior Client Accountant to join our Accounting Services team in Jersey, playing a key role in managing and maintaining the day to day accounting functions of a varied client base.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Client Accountant, you will serve as the primary contact for external auditors and work to strengthen relationships with clients and internal teams.
You will review the work of bookkeepers and produce annual financial statements and management accounts for your allocated portfolio.

- Managing daily accounting activities for a range of Ogier Global clients
- Supporting audit preparation and assisting with the management of audits
- Monitoring and tracking the progress of financial information preparation
- Preparing accurate routine month end and quarter end management accounts
- Identifying opportunities for improvements in processes and service delivery
- Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls
- Supporting, mentoring, and guiding junior members of the team
- Taking on additional responsibilities as required
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We are seeking a qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with strong numerical and analytical ability and a proactive approach. Candidates should have proven experience in client accounting or accounts preparation, with a diligent and organised working style.
Client-facing experience is required, and knowledge of Real Estate, Private Wealth, or Corporate accounting environments is advantageous. Experience with Caseware or Viewpoint is beneficial but not essential.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications is essential. Strong communication, time management, and prioritisation skills are key to success in this role.
