We are seeking a talented Client Accountant to join our expanding Accounting Services team in Jersey, where you will be responsible for the day to day accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of Ogier Global clients.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will act as a key point of contact for external auditors across a portfolio of clients while developing strong working relationships with clients and internal service lines. You will also review bookkeeping input and prepare annual financial statements and management accounts.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Managing the day to day integrity of client ledgers and reviewing bookkeeper input
  • Preparing routine month end and quarter end management accounts for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparing annual financial statements
  • Acting as the central point of contact for external auditors 
  • Preparing and reviewing audit support schedules and documentation
  • Tracking and monitoring the preparation of financial information
  • Developing strong relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and service line development
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with relevant policies, procedures, and controls




Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We are seeking an individual studying towards an accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent), ideally with a few years’ experience, strong numeracy and analytical skills, and a proactive attitude. Experience in client accounting or accounts preparation is preferred.
Knowledge of Real Estate, Private Wealth, Corporate, or Debt Capital Markets accounting environments is desirable but not essential. 
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, along with excellent communication and time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
