The Change team works closely with all aspects of wider Finance team, globally, and is instrumental in getting acquisitions integrated into Finance systems, and develop new business streams on-line; and improving/automating existing processes.

Role Summary
To design, document and deliver solutions to automate & integrate acquisitions, and new business streams into Marex infrastructure, including but not limited to, impacts on Product Control, Legal Entity Control, Brokerage, Tax, Reg Finance, and Treasury. To manage these projects to ensure that they are implemented in a timely manner, and where needed get into the detail, and help design new processes. To manage & Test processes, and ensure final handover to relevant teams and work closely with Finance/Treasury, IT & Operations.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and documentation of the any control weaknesses within current (acquisition) model; and map out touch points/system interfaces required.
- Project manage the changes, including creating and monitoring a go-live timetable.
- Design process improvements to resolve those control weaknesses.
- Liaise with IT to identify areas where system flows can be developed to feed the GL automatically daily.
- Execute UAT testing on any system changes.
- Deliver process changes into the Live environment, including training Finance staff where necessary, to take over BAU.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years’ prior experience* gained within Finance, ideally Product Control/Projects within the Capital Markets product space (FX/IRS/REPO/Equities) but candidates with wider commodities or clearing backgrounds will also be considered.
- Extensive experience in a Finance environment
- Extensive knowledge of Financial and Product Control in brokerage and commodity trading, and/or Capital Markets.
- Advanced level Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Positive team player
- Excellent Project Management skills and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience working in a regulated environment and knowledge of the risk and compliance requirements associated with this.
