Job Summary:
The Sr. Campaign Onboarding Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our digital sales efforts by providing comprehensive operational support to our sales and strategy teams. This position will work as part of the Digital Ad Operations Center of Excellence to implement, maintain, and enhance multi-product advertising campaigns. This position will also serve as a facilitator between Cox Media's field sales and strategy team, Cox Media customers, and internal fulfillment teams.
Location : This role requires that you reside within a Cox Communications listed location. It is a hybrid role, offering a work-from-home/in-office schedule with designated in-office days on Tuesday and Wednesday. Please note that, depending on business needs, this schedule could potentially change.
Work Schedule : This position requires working East Coast business hours. Depending on where you're located, work hours could range from a start time of 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM EST or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM EST or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday.
Primary responsibilities and essential functions:
Client Interaction:

  • Act as the key point of contact for Cox Media's clients, assisting with the resolution of errors, client inquiries and providing timely and accurate information for campaign onboarding success.


  • Collaborate with the sales team to gather client requirements, advertising assets and ensure effective communication between clients and all internal stakeholders.


Campaign Onboarding:

  • Facilitate the accurate and timely processing of digital advertising campaigns and coordination and collection of campaign assets.


  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure the fulfillment of client requirements and delivery of advertising materials.


  • Collaborate with the sales and creative teams to ensure that campaigns align with client objectives and KPIs, ensuring accurate placement of ads and a high level of clearance of the advertising schedule.


  • Execute campaign quality control activities to ensure accurate execution.


Quality Assurance:

  • Review digital campaign submissions for accuracy and compliance with Cox Media methods and procedures.


  • Become an expert in Cox Media's internal ad trafficking, creative management, proposal creation and client management tools and processes to reduce errors and create efficiencies.


  • Ensure compliance with internal and vendor SLAs for timely execution of campaign onboarding.


  • Identify reoccurring issues and suggest improvements to processes and tools.


Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of client communications, contracts, and other relevant documentation.


  • Update all reporting, trackers and documentation as necessary


Digital Expertise & Professional Development:

  • Staying informed of industry trends and best practices, focusing on how changes can help improve offerings to accounts and sharing knowledge to team members.


  • Act as subject matter expert of Cox Media's digital media portfolio and invest in continued education on internal processes and compliance standards.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Build strong relationships with assigned teams and sales consultants through strong communication and a willingness to partner.


  • Work closely with other internal departments such as marketing, finance, and operations to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.


  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for accurate execution of digital fulfillment processes and campaign support.


  • Partner across team for best practices sharing and support


Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED with 5 years of experience in a related field such as Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and 3 years' experience; or 7 years' experience in a related field


  • Proven experience in Digital Ad Operations or a similar role


  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.


  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment.


  • Ability to reason, troubleshoot and problem solve


  • Knowledge of cable advertising trends and industry dynamics is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in related discipline Marketing, Business Administration


  • 2 or more years of experience preferred in Digital Marketing


  • 2 or more years of experience as a media buyer or planner, performing advertising agency work, working in a marketing or public relations role, or some combination of these


USD 23.65 - 35.48 per hour
Compensation:
Hourly base pay rate is $23.65 - $35.48/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
Benefits:
Employees are eligible to receive a minimum of sixteen hours of paid time off every month and seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
