As a Senior Business Systems Analyst within PNC's Lending Technology, Credit Card Servicing organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Dallas, TX.
Our team provides exceptional customer service to our corporate credit card business partners, to help them manage and automate their day-to-day Credit Card Operational duties as well as new Credit Card Product development for Consumer and Small Business Credit Cards. We also provide Credit Card data to our online and mobile banking applications in order to provide our customers with an exceptional experience.
The core team does backend development for our credit card systems. We provide information about credit cards once they are approved to other systems as needed regarding usage, payments, etc. We create batch jobs and APIs that process the credit card data from our vendor Fiserv and make it available to any downstream system that requires credit card data. Downstream systems generally pick up batch data from our Enterprise Data Warehouse, or real-time data from Kafka. We also have APIs that read from and send data directly to our vendor Fiserv.
Looking for a BSA (Business Systems Analyst) to support our team in working with our business to gather requirements, help with high level data research, design solutioning, and Jira Agile story creation needed by our development teams.
The chosen candidate should have experience/skills in the following areas, some must-haves some nice-to-haves:
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Capable of breaking down complex processes
• Ability to articulate the differences between what, why, and how a given process works
• Analysis skills, ability to run queries against SQL tables and search files
• Experience writing technical requirements, proficiency in Excel, Word, Visio for creating requirements and high-level design docs/job/data
• Some coding/development past experience or training is a plus
o this is a Business SYSTEMS Analyst position, not a Business Analyst position.
o Looking for someone with enough technical skills to do some data analysis
o Ability to understand APIs, review code in GitHub, testing in Postman
o Be comfortable troubleshooting problems
o Not afraid to learn new technologies in order to follow job flows, dependencies, review code at a high level to understand dependencies between systems, etc.
• Full Stack BSA who can understand processes from end to end is a plus
• Experience on multiple platforms is ideal, and the ability to quickly learn new tools and technologies
• Knowledge of Confluence and SharePoint would be beneficial
• Experience with Jira and working on an Agile Scrum Crew would also be beneficial

• Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies; ability to create stories, and help organize work/meetings/releases to deliver
Packaged Application Integration -
• Knowledge of and the ability to help drive requirements and solutions for packaged application software and understand how it integrates with company applications, databases and technology platforms.
System Development Life Cycle -
• Knowledge of project management techniques and the ability to plan, assist in design, understand test planning, and helping drive implementation and maintaining system development life cycle segments and phases.
Product and Vendor Evaluation -
• Knowledge of and ability to assist in processes for the evaluation and selection of products, tools, services components ensuring they are in line with the organization's business needs and architectural principles.
Technical Troubleshooting -
• Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques, and the ability to anticipate, recognize, and help resolve application problems.
Software Process Improvement (SPI) -
• Knowledge of formal software process improvement disciplines, and ability to assess and improve the quality and operating costs associated with an existing application.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $52,500.00 – $127,500.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
